Your West Herr dealer will repair, replace or adjust all covered components, as specified in this brochure, that are found to be defective in factory-supplied materials or workmanship during the applicable warranty period. In addition to mechanical breakdowns, failure of covered components due to abnormal wear resulting from defective materials or workmanship are included. Damage and items not covered under the West Herr Powertrain Limited Warranty are specified in this brochure. It is your responsibility to have scheduled maintenance performed and that the materials used meet manufacturer engineering specifications. Failure to perform scheduled maintenance as specified in the Service Manual will invalidate warranty coverage on parts affected by the lack of maintenance. You are required to retain copies of maintenance receipts and to log completed maintenance work in your vehicle scheduled maintenance manual.
